Richard Nahas

Dr Richard Nahas studied medicine at the University of Toronto and worked as an emergency physician until the SARS outbreak of 2003. He then spent two years traveling the world learning traditional medicine and working with healers of many disciplines. He has spent twenty years practicing integrative medicine with a focus on chronic pain, and his work has included advocacy, teaching, research and other academic activities. His broad and varied clinical experience has led him to recognize interference fields as an important medical discovery, unknown lesions in the human body which should be part of any treatment plan for any illness or disease. He has embraced neural therapy as the most widely known medical treatment of these lesions, and is working to develop tools to generate data that supports blockage-based care as an important innovation in medicine. He practices in Ottawa and NYC.
