He has been practicing Neural Therapy for 30 years all day every day. He is a founding member of NAANT and has served on the board since it started. He practices in Kirkland, WA near Seattle. I am grateful to be able to serve the Neural Therapy world family by teaching, mentoring and being on the board. I am enjoying traveling the world speaking and teaching as a representative of NAANT. Robert Banner MD

ROBERT BANNER MD, CCFP, FCFP, FRCP

Vice President

Dr. Rob Banner is a medical doctor, who holds certification in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, Family Practice, Functional Medicine, Holistic Medicine, Ozone Therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Homeopathy.  Dr. Banner graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon in 1990. Following his medical degree, he completed a Rotating Internship in Victoria B.C. and went to practice as a Flight Surgeon and Diving Medical Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces.  He obtained his certification in Family Medicine in 1998 and Fellowship in Family Medicine in 2009.  In 1998, he returned to complete his training in anesthesiology and obtained this specialty certification in 2001 and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He has practiced medicine in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario for over 27 years.

Professional, personal and family reasons encouraged Dr. Banner to look to techniques in pain management. This lead to a more holistic view to the practice of medicine beginning with the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture then Neural Therapy, Prolotherapy, Autonomic Response Testing, Functional Medicine and Manual Medicine.

Dr. Banner is the current President of the North American Academy of Neural Therapy and Past President of the Ontario Society of Physicians for Complementary Medicine and past Chair of the Ontario Medical Association Section of Complementary and Integrative Medicine. He continues to practice private anesthesia, speaking locally and internationally on a variety of topics related to health care.

Naturopathic biologically based dentist. Practicing for 37 years. We use neural therapy for head and neck, ozone, platelet rich fibrin, safe mercury removal, and zirconia dental implants.

Dr Karl A. Anderson, DDS, MS, Diplomate ICOI,has lectured nationally and internationally in the field of Implantology, and has over 25 years of experience in both the surgical and restorative aspects of Implantology. He is a Diplomat of the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He also has a Masters of Science Degree in Periodontology and is active in many dental organizations including the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. RICHARD CHEN MD

Dr.Richard Chen is a certified functional medicine doctor who practiced in Massachusetts for several decades before moving to northern California in the last several years. He has worked in diverse settings such as community health centers, multispecialty offices, integrative medical practice, and currently runs his own private practice, Focused Wellness, which specializes in people sensitive to electromagnetic frequencies. He uses neural therapy, laser acupuncture, genetics, Chinese medicine, and biochemistry to help people live better with their chronic illness. He has written a book called “A New Way to Health” which describes his approach to illness.

Ann Hill

ANNE HILL ND

Dr. Anne Hill has been practicing holistic health since 1994. She initially trained as and maintained a practice as a clinical herbalist and craniosacral therapist for several years before continuing her studies to receive her medical degree in 2003. She currently practices in Portland, Oregon specializing in hypermobility disorders and EDS, environmental medicine including mold illness, Mast cell Activation Syndrome, and chronic infectious disease including long hauler post-covid syndrome. Dr. Hill has been an educator as long as she has been a physician, guest teaching and lecturing on medical topics at various institutions across the United States as well as holding private seminars in neural therapy and craniosacral therapy. RICHARD NAHAS MD

Dr Richard Nahas was introduced to neural therapy and the global community of neural therapists by Dr Robert Kidd, a great mentor, colleague and friend. Dr Nahas lives and practices interventional pain management in Ottawa. He combines neural therapy with acupuncture and manual myofascial release, and has developed the Seekers Method, which uses movement and touch, breath and awareness to find and release restrictions in tissue. He is also developing the BEAM project, a mobile data platform for crowdsourcing evidence at the point of care.

ROBERT KIDD MD, CM

Past President

Dr. Robert Kidd is a graduate of McGill University (1970), practiced emergency medicine for ten years, and has conducted a medical consulting practice in Renfrew, Ontario for almost 40 years.  His practice is eclectic, integrating osteopathy, neural therapy, nutrition, toxicology, psychosomatics and energetics.

Dr. Kidd has published extensively in the peer-reviewed literature, has written a textbook of neural therapy (Neural Therapy: Applied Neurophysiology and Other Topics), and writes a monthly neural therapy e-newsletter for physicians and dentists.

Dr. Kidd has lectured at conferences on a variety of topics for over 30 years in Canada, the US, Europe, Australia and South America. He has taught 2 and 3-day workshops on neural therapy for many years.  For two years he was a visiting lecturer at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He was the first president of the Canadian Association of Orthopaedic Medicine, is a past president of the American Association of Orthopaedic Medicine, a past vice-president of the North American Academy of Musculoskeletal Medicine and has served in a number of other positions for other medical-education organizations.

He has a special interest in the interplay between osteopathy and neural therapy and how they complement each other.

Dr. Kidd passed away in February 2019.

PERRY M. PERRETZ DO

Past-President

Dr. Perretz first entered medical school after eight years of practice as an acupuncturist.  As a practitioner of eastern medicine, he saw that many patients were falling through the cracks in our health care system. Inspired to serve people better as part of a medical team, he graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999, and completed his PM&R residency at Schwab/ University of Chicago, in 2003.  His private practice, called Advanced Pain Solutions, in Redding, Connecticut is dedicated to the treatment of musculoskeletal pain, featuring an eclectic mix of osteopathy, prolotherapy, acupuncture, and neural therapy.
